Note to Department of Defense contract managers and force developers:

As Department of Defense Cyber Security Maturity Model Certification develops, we’ll follow.

We effectively document, manage, review, and use best practices as they relate to your privacy and information security. We have a professional security researcher on our advisor team.

To keep you and your networks safe, we follow the policies and procedures of our host organizations. When we bring in laptops, we use clean machines used only for labs, and they have virus protection. Our passwords change regularly. We don’t exchange removable media with your organization’s devices. Common sense stuff.

What personal data do we collect, and how do we use it?

If you opt to follow our blog, we’ll subscribe you. WordPress® servers store your email. You can opt out anytime.

We collect some personal data in our instructor-led courses—learning managers usually ask for name, Employee ID, Department or Agency, and Email. They use this data to document learners in learning management systems.

What do we do with course rosters? We shred them after we complete our administrative tasks. We store contact information in a database under two-factor authentication.

We also collect course evaluations. Participants may choose to provide personal identification. We supply copies to the host organization, and we keep hard copies. We use evaluation feedback to update courses annually. We use some comments for testimonials, using pseudonym initials. We identify the client organization. We shred course evaluations when we complete our service related tasks.

We collect as little personal data as possible. We have administrative, physical, and technical safeguards in place. We destroy it when we’ve completed any tasks that we require your data to perform.

We use trusted, world-class service providers to host our website, provide email and voice service, software, and protect our devices. We created and edit this Web site.
